Endemic to the Philippines, the Philippine Eagle can be found on four major islands: Luzon, Samar, Leyte, and Mindanao. As the national bird of the Philippines, it symbolizes strength and love for freedom.
The Philippine eagle is reportedly very loyal. When they are paired with a partner, they are monogamous for life. But as of the moment, only 400 pairs of eagles are left in the Philippines.
